Terrorist operations can profoundly affect security and its sense in society. The study of cultural, social and political and disciplinary elements in the fight against terrorism shows their impact on the prevalence of terrorist operations. The purpose of this study is to analyze these factors and their impact on the prevalence of terrorist operations in the Mirjaveh region. The research method is applied and descriptive-survey in terms of purpose and nature, respectively. The effective Factors on the prevalence of terrorist operations through structured interviews with 46 social and cultural activists and people aware of security issues in the Mirjaveh region and the distribution of a researcher-made questionnaire to 170 staff members and border units of the Mirjaveh Regiment as a sample size based on the Cochran's formula was collected. The validity of the research is structural and formal and the reliability of each concept is calculated through Cronbach's alpha coefficient, so that this coefficient in the concepts: terrorist operations, cultural, social, political and disciplinary factors are 0.86, 0.62, 0.88, 0.75 and 0.84, respectively. Based on descriptive findings, the average prevalence of terrorist operations from the perspective of respondents is 3.31 in the range of 1-5. This rate in social, cultural and political factors in the same range is 3.49, 3.30 and 3.81, respectively. Therefore, social, cultural and political factors are above average and disciplinary factors are below average (2.86). According to analytical findings, border guards who have more service experience at the border consider cultural and social factors to be more effective in the spread of terrorist operations. The results indicate that social, cultural, political and disciplinary issues are related to the prevalence of terrorist operations in the Mirjaveh region, as with the increase of these issues, terrorist operations become more prevalent.
