Background and aim: Immigration as a human phenomenon is as wide as human history. Migration has different effects and consequences on the security of the countries that the type of illegal immigration has different effects and consequences for the receiving countries. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of illegal immigration on the security of the borders of the south-east of the country and the question of: How does illegal immigration affect the security of the borders of the south-east of the country? done.Method: The research method was descriptive-analytic and survey method. For collecting data, available documents and a researcher-made questionnaire based on the Likert range of five options, and to determine the credibility of the questionnaire from the viewpoint of experts and elite with the knowledge of the field of research (formal credential technique) To determine the reliability of questions in the pre-test phase, Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used. The statistical population consisted of 115 experts in the field of law enforcement and 11 disciplines. In order to calculate the sample size, 70 individuals were randomly selected using Morgan table. Statistical analyzes were performed using t-test, single sample Friedman test, Pearson correlation coefficient and spss software were analyzed.Findings and results: The findings of this study indicate that illegal immigration from various aspects of security, political, social, economic, cultural affects on economics, territorial integrity, welfare and social development, respect for human rights and international standards, national health and security, development of cooperation International and, in particular, has a great impact on the security of the borders, which imposes a lot of costs on the country. The results showed that the effect of immigration on the security of the borders of the country according to the means of ranking has a significant difference. Immigrant impact assessment is based on: 1. Social-cultural security 2. Political security 3. Economic security 4. Environmental security 5. Military security.
