Introduction: Human resources is useful and effective when they have strong mentality, high happiness and fine satisfaction. Sue to this, the performance of this organization is originated from their career satisfaction. The aim of this study is to review career satisfaction and its related factors among Cadre Personnel of IlamProvinceBorder Policing Command.
The Method؛ This study has descriptive-survey method. Under study statistical society includes all Cadre Personnel of Ilam Province Border Policing Command (Mehran and Dehlorancities) 935 persons among which 215 persons were selected as statistical society. Demographic and standard questionnairesof career satisfaction named Smith, Kendall and Hulin(JDI) were used for data gathering with a little modification. The rate of Cronbach’s alpha for questionnaire is 66/94 percent. Datawas analyzed by SPSS and statistical methods of Pearson correlation coefficient and non-parametric tests (Chi-two test and Pearson correlation coefficient).
From DataAnalysis; career satisfaction of 24/3 was obtained which shows that career satisfactionof Cadre Personnel of Ilam Province Border Policing Command is more than average. This study showed that factors such as the numbers of children, military degree, education level, matrimony status, the average of monthly salary, employment status, the kind of house, vehicle for commuting, kind of residence, distance with house to service location are all effective on career satisfaction of marquesses; but age, work experience, high school field, university field, spouse’ job, spouse’ diploma, university of issuing degree are all irrelevant to career satisfaction. Moreover, supervisor, colleagues, improvement, payment, happily working have a positive and direct and meaningful relation among which correlation of career with career satisfaction had the strongest correlation of 76/0.
Obtained results show that the more payment and colleagues and their improvements leads to higher career satisfaction among Cadre Personnel of Border Policing Command. Therefore this study istotally congruous with some aspects of previous studies. In general, findings is compatible with general framework of conceptual models resulted from previous studies but stronger and moreserious communications are mainly in managerial factors which prove the necessity of focusing more on career satisfaction.
