Background and objectives: in the border system, border stations are considered as the frontlines and the first layer of border security suppliers. That is why the commander in chief said: the stations across the country must take an action in a way to be considered as the hope and aspiration of the people. Undoubtedly, this matter is only achieved by having employees who have job satisfaction, and in this regard, according to the roles of commanders in the realization of this issue, this research has addressed how it is possible to promote the job satisfaction of border stations’ commanders. This research focuses on the study of inter-organizational factors affecting motivation promotion.
Methodology: in terms of method, this study is of a descriptive-analytic type and in terms of the purpose and the result it is an applied research. The required data were collected using the library and field study (distributing questionnaire and interviewing the border elites). The statistical population of the study consists of all the commanders of two border regiments of Gazik and Taybad (90 participants) all of which have been questioned. The obtained data were analyzed using t-test, Chi square and Friedman.
The findings and results: the findings of the research showed that in order of preference, job factors, environmental factors, and organizational factors affect the border station commanders’ job satisfaction. The results also showed that paying attention and making investment on job factors, the station’s environmental factors and the personality and individual characteristics of the commander at the time of appointment, would lead to a higher job satisfaction for them.
